blessed with love

It’s tough sometimes, going to college in-town and staying at home, especially when some of your closest friends leave for college out-of-town. But thank God for friends who are still here, new friends who’ve moved here, and reunions with old friends who’ve come back for the holidays.

All of my friends are amazing. We can sit in a coffee shop for hours, talking about lives and sharing stories and leave feeling so blessed and encouraged. They’re a gift. Really, they are. A gift from God. And I am so glad that God has decided to bless me with such a wonderful gift!

It’s amazing to me that some of my closest friends and I have survived the awkward junior high years (as the above picture would suggest), a dozen trimesters of high school, and now half a year of college and still manage to remain as close as ever.

I’ve been through the worst times in my life and the best times of my life with these people, and I know that there’s still a lot more life ahead of us. But if the past six plus years are any indication, we’ll make it through.
