Ouch. Does anyone else feel the sting, too? Whenever I see bumper stickers/anything else like this, I like to justify it in my head, thinking, “Well, they obviously haven’t met a real Christian,” or, “They’re just bitter for some reason.” But really? Is that the way I should be responding to something like this?
Christians aren’t perfect; just saved by a God who is. But there’s a difference between making a mistake and forcing the Gospel down someone’s throat. Sometime it can be hard to see the difference, but it’s there. I hope I can manage to be loving and truthful, not hurtful and outlandish.
