My Refuge & Strength

That means chocolate please in Czech! Pretty much the only Czech I know. Good thing I’m not teaching that language. Oh man, I’m so stoked to finally be going on this trip! I remember when I first heard about it; it was one of those halfhearted moments where I was all, “Oh, yeah. That sounds cool,” but did nothing about it. Then when Joshua didn’t work out, for some reason it was really on my heart to make this work. So in a moment of last-minute planning and rushed calls, I came to the first meeting at Jim & Donna Jeffrey’s house (far left and far right) and immediately became hooked. And now tomorrow we’re going.

Things to pray for, for our team:

• No lost luggage.
• That we won’t be too crazy bored during all the traveling.
• Continued team unity. I really don’t wanna drive these amazing people crazy!
• To grow strong relationships with the Czech people there (both the students and the interns).
• To grow closer to each other.
• That we sorta kinda know what we’re doing when we actually have to teach.
• That God would provide the strength and ability that we need during all this.
• That God would use us!

So that’s all for now. Czech Republic, here we come!
